Last nite my friend Veron has organized a cooking nite for the gals at "Superclub". In case u dunno where this club is, it's actually a kitchen behind City Super da supermarket at Times Square (actually the one Harbour City also offers cooking class), and on and off there is cooking class by different guests chefs! The one we had was a private class so we were super noisy and could have zipping wine while watching the "performance"! First of all we go shopping together at the supermarket (does it sound Jamie Oliver? but he usually goes to the wet market while we shop at nice clean supermarket :P). Then we went back into the "kitchen", each person doing a little task...after awhile we had sea urchin tartar as appetizer (see below foto).
Main course we had baked lobster with cream sauce + squid ink pasta. Now i know the techiques how to make a chewy lobster but i wonder if i have the gut to do anything to a lively lobster by myself at home...maybe i'll just make the squid ink pasta, heehee!!! Lastly ginger souffle as dessert!!! What a fruitful nite...learnt a lot and ate a lot...thanks Veron for making my nite ; ) !!!
